It all started when…

I read a classic book and began to ruminate how I could transform that book into something relevant to today. I began to formulate a plan to recreate a story and began my journey as a writer.

I am currently revising my first draft and honing the story to fit both the essence of the story and relate topics such as class, prejudice, inheritance, legacy, and, of course, love. I am new to the process of editing and I am hoping I will keep my pace at a steady clip and have a revised draft completed by the spring.

With that deadline in mind, I better get back to writing…
