The Light of Leyland PArk
I am currently writing a story set in late 19th-century New England. It features a young orphan girl from Mexico, raised in a wealthy household and loved by her guardians, yet she faces rejection from the neighborhood. Unable to fit in with either the upper class or the working community, Lucia must navigate a world in transition and find her place. Then a family relation comes to visit, and will change the balance and order at Leyland Park, ultimately changing the lives of everyone.
