COURAGE TO CHANGE | BONNIE GARMUS

Whenever you start doubting yourself, whenever you feel afraid, just remember. Courage is the root of change and change is what we’re chemically designed to do.

Change is as much a part of life as death. We are constantly changing, whether we choose to or not. The fear that comes with change is the sudden disappearance of something, and if it is good, we don’t want to let it go; if it is bad, we are amazed that we made it so far.

To struggle is to grow. We, as human beings, were designed to be molded and shaped, to change. The pressure and the formation can hurt at times, but the pain we feel is only the working out of our sharpest corners, smoothing them into a greater masterpiece.

Your days are numbered. Use them to throw open the windows of your soul to the sun.
